CQC GP Registration Support:
By 1st April 2012 all GP practices and out of hours services in England must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in order to continue to operate.
The process of registering practices began in the last quarter of 2011 with gathering of information from all practices about the locations and services provided by each practice.
You should be aware that this is a legal requirement and is in addition to any other registrations which you currently hold.
The process of registration begins with the submission of an application pack containing
details of the practice, all of its locations and details of all of the regulated
activities provided at each of those locations. Providers are also required to submit
details of the person who will hold the CQC registration (the Registered Persons
