Preparation of your Care Quality Commission Registration Application pack:

Some organisations will claim to give you "help" or give "detailed assistance" with your application pack - beware!

LCS will prepare your application pack including completion of the necessary Care Quality Commission (CQC) forms for your clinic or salon. We will check the information you provide to us, to ensure that it will meet the CQC’s increasingly rigorous standards and we will assemble the pack ready for you to check, copy and sign prior to its submission to the Commission.

Policy Manuals and Clinic Registry

LCS will provide you with a comprehensive set of policies and procedures needed to meet regulatory requirements which will be designed for your specific type of service. We undertake an ongoing and continuous review of Policy Manuals to ensure that they stay up to date and meet current Care Quality Commission standards. Your policies will be updated on an annual basis to give you the latest versions of all paperwork. LCS also believes in supplying the necessary support documentation for your service in the form of our unique LCS Clinic Registry.

Policies include complaints management, information management, human resources policies, control of infection, health and safety, to name but a few.

(Note: Beware - a competitors of ours has copied one of our old, outdated Clinic Registries - this is not the same as the current version. The old copied version is obsolete and has recently been rejected by CQC Inspectors!).

Laser Protection Advice & Expert Medical Protocols

Under the National Minimum Standards for Independent Healthcare you are required to retain the services of a Certificated Laser Protection Adviser (LPA). LCS has its own Healthcare Commission recognised expert LPAs. We will provide an LPA Report and Risk Assessment, Local Rules and all necessary laser safety documentation. We can also provide full support of our own in-house, Expert Medical Practitioner (Dr Philip Dobson) for writing and support of Medical Protocols for use of laser and IPL systems.

What else?

LCS can help with layout and specification of premises, we can advise on clinical applications and specification of laser and IPL systems. Our sister company LCS Academy specialises in training and education providing a course on preparing for the “Fit Person” Interview (included in the cost of our standard package) and the CQC mandatory “Core of Knowledge” on laser safety.
