LCS has always been committed to providing training and

educational support to our clients. It was this motivation that in

2008 caused us to set up our sister company LCSAcademy Ltd.

LCS Academy is devoted to providing the highest level of laser, IPL and cosmetic training including Core of Knowledge, Laser Protection Supervisor Courses, Laser & IPL Contraindications Courses and now the all new prestigious internationally recognised BTEC qualifications.

Under the care of Dr Elizabeth Raymond Brown, LCSAcademy's Director of Education the Academy has recently been awarded Edexcel Centre status and has had its flagship BTEC awards approved for delivery.

Dr Raymond Brown says that the brand new, and completely rewritten and updated BTEC awards are a breakthrough in laser, IPL and cosmetic education.

The new BTECs will be known as the BTEC(Medical), principally aimed at medical practitioners and very experienced nurses and the BTEC(Aesthetic), aimed at non-medically qualified practitioners. But don't imagine that the BTEC(Aesthetic) is any less demanding than the BTEC(Medical) - it is simply that the latter contains some information and treatments which are only appropriate to medical and hospital based practitioners.
